Step 1: Connect the Cables
This procedure will describe how to connect one computer to the Eicon 1550/1551,
once the set-up is running correctly. You can then connect up to three other LAN
devices.
Your Eicon 1550/1551 package includes one Ethernet cable (the blue cable). This is a
standard, straight-through cable. If you plan to connect more than one computer to the
Eicon 1550/1551, you will need to acquire a separate standard Ethernet cable for each
piece of equipment.
