Installation Guide

< Insulation resist. >
The inverter has detected a ground fault in
the system.

• Check small wind turbine system for

ground fault as described in
section 12.1 ”Checking the Small
Wind Turbine System for a Ground
Fault” (page 77).

• Have the ground fault rectified by the

installer of the small
wind turbine system before
reconnecting the affected cable.

36

< High discharge curr. >
The leakage current of the inverter and the
small wind turbine system is too high.
This can be caused by a sudden grounding
fault, failure current or an actual fault in the
device.
The inverter interrupts grid feed
immediately after exceeding a limiting
value and then automatically re-connects
to the grid.

• Check small wind turbine system for

ground fault as described in
section 12.1 ”Checking the Small
Wind Turbine System for a Ground
Fault” (page 77).

• Have the ground fault rectified by the

installer of the
small wind turbine system before
reconnecting the affected cable.

37

< Resid.curr.too.high >

• Check small wind turbine system for

ground connection as described in
section 12.1 ”Checking the Small
Wind Turbine System for a Ground
Fault” (page 77).

• Have the ground fault rectified by the

installer of the small
wind turbine system before
reconnecting the affected cable.

38

< DC overcurrent >
An overcurrent condition occurs on the DC
side of the inverter and it switches off.

If this event occurs often:

• Check layout and connections of the

small wind turbine system.

39

< Waiting for DC start conditions >
The input cable or input voltage of the
small wind turbine system is still insufficient
for feeding into the grid.

• Wait for higher wind speeds.
• If the event reoccurs in the event of

medium-high wind speeds, check the
layout of the
small wind turbine system.

section 16 ”Contact” (page 92)).
