< Grid failure >
< Waiting for grid voltage >
• Check fuse.
• Check AC installation.
• Check whether there is a general
black-out.
9
< PE conn. missing >
• Check AC installation.
• Connect the PE cable to the AC
terminal as described in
section 5.3.2 ”Connecting the
Inverter to the Power Distribution
Grid (AC)” (page 29).
10
< L / N swapped >
• Adjust the connection as described in
section 5.3.2 ”Connecting the
Inverter to the Power Distribution
Grid (AC)” (page 29).
11
< Installation fault >
< 2nd phase conn. to N >
• Adjust the connection as described in
section 5.3.2 ”Connecting the
Inverter to the Power Distribution
Grid (AC)” (page 29).

< Unstable operation >
The supply at the DC input of the inverter is
not sufficient for stable operation.
• Wait for higher and more constant
wind speeds.
• If the event reoccurs in the event of
medium-high and more constant
wind speeds, check the layout of the
small wind turbine system.
34
< DC overvoltage >
The DC input voltage connected to the
inverter is too high.
• Disconnect inverter from
Windy Boy Protection Box
immediately as described in
section 7.2 ”Disconnect the
device from voltage sources”
(page 59)! Otherwise, the
inverter may be destroyed.
• Before reconnecting the inverter to
the Windy Boy Protection Box, check
that the maximum input voltage of the
inverter and check the DC voltage of
the Windy Boy Protection Box when
operating the
small wind turbine system.
