5.4.4 Connecting the Windy Boy Protection Box (DC)
1. Check the DC plug connectors for correct polarity.
2. Connect one positive and one negative DC plug
connector each to both input areas of the inverter.
To release the DC plug connectors see
section 7.2 ”Disconnect the device from voltage
sources” (page 59).
Never connect all 4 DC plug connectors to only
one input area!
DANGER!
Danger to life due to high voltages in the inverter.
• Before connecting the Windy Boy Protection Box (WBP-Box 500-11), ensure that the
small wind turbine system connected to the Windy Boy Protection Box has been
stopped and secured against restart.
