10 Slot for SD card
The inverter is equipped with an SD card slot. The slot is on the left below the display.
There are a number of cases which require an SD card to be read in, such as:
• Under consultation with the SMA Serviceline, a firmware update is necessary.
SMA Solar Technology AG will send you a file with the firmware update per e-mail.
You will find the description of the Firmware update in the download area at www.SMA.de/en.
• You require adjusted parameter settings for you installation location.
Request these from SMA Solar Technology AG. SMA Solar Technology AG will then send you
a file with the relevant settings and instructions on how to install these per e-mail.
• Enter the Grid Guard Code to set a new country standard with the rotary switch or to be able
to change parameters. If required, request a manual on the procedure from
SMA Solar Technology AG or it is shipped with the necessary data.
Properties of the SD Card
Use an SD card with a maximum capacity of 2 GB.
Use the SD card exclusively for this inverter. Do not save any multimedia files or other
unsuitable files on the SD card.
