Description
Range
Note
N
Name: User defined alpha-numeric
label for circuit.
12 character maximum.
Used as an entry key for
future edits of this circuit.
M
Mode: Data at 56K or 64K or Voice.
Voice is used to support
call supervision signalling
on T1 circuits.
For data, select 56K only
when a T1 circuit uses
AMI line coding. Use 64K
for B8ZS T1 circuits or
M1-3 circuits.
If Voice is selected, the
circuit will convey the A
and B signalling bits used
to establish and supervise
calls.
If data, select bandwidth
usage per timeslot—56K or
64K. Actual data rate
becomes 56K or 64K
multiplied by the number
of DS0s selected.
SP
Source Port: port from which circuit
originates. A specific port on an
application module currently installed
in the node.
Shelf number/slot
number separated by a
comma (1,8), then a port
of the module per list
presented.
Source port may be a
network port or a data
port. Circuits must use (at
least) one network port.
DP
Destination port: port at which circuit
terminates. A specific port on an
application module currently installed
in the node.
Shelf number/slot
number separated by a
comma (1,8) then a port
of the module per list
presented.
Destination port may be a
network port or a data
port. Circuits must use (at
least) one network port.
SM
Source Mapping: timeslots to use at
the Source Port. For T1 ports these
are level zero (DS0) timeslots at voice,
56K or 64K each.
Note: applies to QUAD T1 only.
Enter the timeslots with
comma separators or a
range with a hyphen
between first and last.
For example: 1,2,3,4 or
1-4.
1-24 for T1 ports.
