Test Mode
To activate test mode, open the island card reader
door, flip the S3 switch on the CPU board to TEST,
and press START OVER on the keypad. (The unit
must remain open during tests.) The keypad is now
enabled for selecting one of the 9 test routines:

Printers
Novatronics
There is only one jumpered connection on the
Novatronics board. With the board oriented so that
the DB-25 connector is at the top left, the jumper
block is below the connector; jumper the two
rightmost pins to set the baud rate at 9600.
Star
There are two DIP switch banks on the Star printer.
Each position must be set as follows:
