Troubleshooting
Some basic Frame Grabber troubleshooting tips:
Problem
Possible cause
Action to take
Nothing is
displayed on
local monitor
The VGA/DVI cables
are not properly
connected to either
the Frame Grabber or
to the VGA source
equipment.
Check that the
VGA/DVI cables are
properly connected. See
the connection
instructions for your
Frame Grabber. For
example:

Autosave is
enabled, but
there are no
image files
saved
Filename settings are
not properly setup.

Generation Settings

When Web
Broadcasting
is enabled,
the following
message
appears:
Sharing has
been stopped
The Internet
connection on the host
computer is not
functioning properly,
or the time limit for
the broadcasting
session has been
reached.
Verify that the network
cable is properly
connected to the host
computer and then open
a web browser window
to verify that the internet
connection is working.
