Notes: Rmonitor and Daktronics Protocol
The All Sport 5100 uses a table generated by either $A or $COMP packets to show
competitor data on matrix displays via the RS-232 Enhanced RTD feed. The car
number and registration number fields are used to display driver names for positions
1-12 (refer to Appendix D in this manual:
All Sport 5100 Racing RTD Items.)
The registration number found in the $J packet is used to display the current
qualifying driver name and car number when the console is set to show passing
competitor data in Qualifying mode. In most cases, the registration number will be
the same as the car number.
The status indicators (red, yellow, and green) are set automatically, using
information from the $F packet “Flagstatus” field. The status received will override
the status manually set on the console.
