The format of each packet is identical. The two packets only differ in the “SR” and “SP”
record type identifiers and the content of the data. If the timing/results system is
configured to Race mode, send the packet with the information defined for Race mode.
If the timing/results system is configured for Practice mode, send the packet with the
information defined for Practice mode. Daktronics systems will not display race and
practice information at the same time; the Daktronics displays will show either race
information or practice information.
