Typical Page Features
Many of the pages in the CDM-740 Web Server Interface feature a “virtual panel” providing
‘real-time’ information as follows:
Column
Function
Input
Port
Status
Lock
Displays the LOCK STATUS of the demodulator as Locked or Unlocked.
MODCOD
Displays the active demodulation type and FEC rate
Es/No (dB)
Displays the value of Es/No calculated by the demodulator. The value
referred to here is the energy per symbol bit (Es), divided by the noise
spectral density (No).
BER
Displays an estimate of the corrected Bit Error Rate.
RSL (dbM)
Displays the dBm reading indicating the signal level of the desired receive
carrier.
Modem Status
This display emulates the LED Indicator array on the CDM-740 Front
Panel, and provides the user with a ‘heads-up’ reference to the unit’s
active operational status.
