OPERATION
5.1 Description

The user can fully control and monitor the operation of the CDM-740 Advanced Satellite Modem
from the front panel using the keypad and display. Nested menus are used, which display all
available options, and prompt the user to carry out a required action.
Figure 5-1 identifies the key features of the front panel, which are explained in greater detail in
this section.
