Stitch Adjustments
Fine Tuning
To accommodate different fabric character­
istics or satisfy a desired effect, you can
change the programmed stitch settings by
using the Fine Tuning section on your
machine.
The Fine Tuning section is located on the
lower right section of the panel.
Select pattern 2. Zig-Zag. Lightly touch
dial A to turn on the stitch width control.
When stitch width has been selected a red
light will appear on the panel.
Now touch dial B to turn on the stitch length
control. A red light will appear on the panel
when length has been selected.
Select pattern 22 Turkish hemstitch. The
balance light C will automatically go on, as it
will for each patterns which may be altered
by the balance dial.

Using Stitch Length
with Straight Stitch
To increase or decrease stitch length for a
straight stitch, follow the procedure below
on two layers of scrap fabric.
Touch straight stitch 1. This must always be
done first.
1. If a shorter stitch length is desired, turn
the dial toward a lower number.
2. If a longer stitch length is desired, turn the
dial toward a higher number.
Using Stitch Length with
Other Stitching Patterns
To modify other stitch patterns using stitch
length, sew with the length on various digits
until you get the stitch pattern fine tuned to
the appropriate length to suit application,
fabric, or desired effect.
NOTE: Stitch patterns which automatically turn
on stitch balance when selected, will not require
the use of the stitch length dial. These stitches
have been programmed at the best possible stitch
length to suit your applications.

Afin d'accommoder les caractéristiques

d’obtenir un effet particulier, il est possible
de changer les réglages programmés du
point à l’aide du secteur des «Réglages de
précision» de votre machine.
Le secteur des réglages de précision se
trouve à droite, au bas du tableau de points-
motifs.
Sélectionnez le point 2, point zig-zag. Ef­
fleurez la cadran A afin d’actionner le règle-
point de largeur. Lorsque vous aurez choisi
la largeur désirée, un feu rouge s’allumera
au tableau.
Touchez maintenant la cadran B afin d’ac­
tionner le régie-point de longueur. Un feu
rouge s’allumera au tableau lorsque vous
aurez choisi la longueur désirée.
Sélectionnez le point 22, point d’ourlet turc.
Le feu C, signalant l’équilibre des points,
s'allumera automatiquement, comme il le
fera d’ailleurs pour tout point que le cadran
d’équilibre des points peut changer.

pour le point droit
Pour allonger ou raccourcir le point droit,
suivez la méthode cl-dessous en utilisant
deux épaisseurs de retailles de tissu.
Touchez le symbole du point droit 1. Cette
étape doit toujours être la première.
1. Pour raccourcir le point, tournez le cadran
à un chiffre moins élevé.
2. Pour allonger le point, tournez le cadran
à un chiffre plus élevé.

points autres que le point droit
Pour modifier la longueur d’un point autre
que le point droit, cousez à différents chiffres
de longueur jusqu’à ce que vous obteniez
la longueur qui convient à votre couture, au
tissu ou à l’effet désiré,
NOTE: Les points qui font allumer automatique­
ment le feu indiquant i'équiiibre des points iors-
qu’ils sont sélectionnés, ne nécessitent pas
l'usage du régie-point de longueur. Ces points sont
préprogrammés à la longueur qui leur convient
le mieux pour tout usage.

posible cambiar los ajustes programados
mediante el «Ajuste Fino» en su máquina.
Este ajuste fino está situado en su máquina
en la parte inferior derecha del panel.
Seleccione el modelo 2. Zig-zag. Toque li­
geramente el disco A para poner en marcha
el mando del ancho del punto. Una vez se­
leccionado el ancho, aparecerá una luz roja
en el panel.
Ahora, toque el disco B para poner en mar­
cha el mando del largo del punto. Aparecerá
una luz roja en el panel cuando el largo
haya sido seleccionado.
Seleccione el patrón 22, dobladillo turco. La
luz C indicando el equilibrio aparecerá auto­
máticamente, igual que para cada patrón
que pueda ser alterado por el disco del
equilibrio.

Uso del largo del punto
con punto recto
Para aumentar o reducir el largo para punto
recto, siga el procedimiento abajo en dos
pedazos de tela.
Toque el punto recto 1. Hace falta hacer
esto primero.
1. Si se desea un punto menos largo, gire el
disco hacia nùmero más pequeño.
2. Si se desea un punto más largo, gire el
disco hacia número más grande.
Uso del largo del punto
con otros patrones
Para modificar otros patrones de punto
mediante el largo del punto, cosa con el
largo puesto en varios dígitos hasta que el
patrón esté bien ajustado en el largo apro­
piado para corresponder a la aplicación, la
tela o el efecto deseado.
NOTA: Los patrones de punto que pongan auto­
máticamente el equilibrio del punto en marcha
cuando seleccionados, no requerirán el uso del
disco del largo del punto. Estos puntos han sido
programados para el largo óptimo correspon­
diendo a sus aplicaciones.
