RED Lens Drive Gears are magnetic-locking and interchangeable without the use of any tools. Additionally,

Lens Drive Gears can be installed on either side of a Lens Control Motor for optimized motor orientation and

low profile setup.

AttACH tHe Lens ControL Motor MoUntInG BrACKet

1. Align the dove-tail bracket on the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket with the desired mounting rail on

the Lens Control Motor.

2. Insert the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket and compress the locking guide pin to attach.
3. Slide the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket into place.
4. Tighten the adjustment knob to secure the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket into place.

reMoVe A Lens ControL Motor MoUntInG BrACKet

1. Loosen the adjustment knob to allow the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket to slide.
2. Compress the locking guide pin and slide the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket off of the dove-tail

mount.

InstALL tHe Lens ControL Motor

Dual dove-tail mounting rails on both sides of the Lens Control Motor offer flexible and convenient instal-

lation, regardless of your camera setup. With the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket attached to the

Lens Control Motor, perform the following steps:
1. Loosen the thumbscrew lock and open to clamp on the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket.
2. Install 19mm-to-15mm Rod Reducers (as necessary).
3. Position the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket on the support rod at the desired location. Ensure that

the Lens Control Motor gear can reach the desired lens adjustment gear.
note: Allow for a small amount of give between the motor gear and the lens adjustment gear when mount-

ing the Lens Control Motor.

4. Close the clamp and move the pivoting Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket lock into place.
5. Tighten the thumbscrew lock on the Lens Control Motor Mounting Bracket to secure the Lens Control Motor

to the support rod.
