BULK OUT

When this function is called the LCD will appear as shown below, and it becomes possible to execute a bulk data dump of a single
memory location (MEM), the system setup data (SYS), the program change assignment table of a single bank (BNK), or all of the
above (ALL) via the MIDI THRU/OUT connector.

1. Make sure that the rear-panel MIDI THRU-OUT switch is

set to the "OUT" position.

2. Use the [UTILITY] key to select the BULK OUT display.

The underline cursor should be under the ALL
parameter.

NOTE: Refer to the MIDI DATA FORMAT section beginning

on page 160 for more details about the bulk dump
data.

NOTE: "++ MIDI RECEIVE" will appear on the upper display

line during bulk data reception.

3. Use the cursor [ ◄] and [ ►] keys to select the type of

data you want to transmit:

ALL = All program, system setup, and program change
table data.
SYS = System setup data (i.e. current utility settings,

etc).

MEM = The data for the specified memory location.
BNK = The program change table data of the specified
bank.

4. If you select either MEM or BNK, use the [DATA ENTRY]

control or

[A]

and

[T]

keys to select the memory

location number (PRESET locations POO — P99, USER
locations UOO — U99) or bank (A, B, C, or D)

corresponding to the data you want to transmit.

5. Press the [STORE] key to execute the bulk dump

operation. A display similar to the following will appear
while the data is being transmitted.

BULK OUT

BULK OUT BANK

The initial BULK OUT display will reappear when
transmisison has finished.
