A PIREP contains elements in the following order:

Type of message (urgent or routine)
•
Location in relation to an airport or VHF NAVAID
•
Time observed
•
Flight Level (may not always be present)
•
Type of aircraft (may not always be present)

Sky cover (may not always be present)

Weather conditions (may not always be present)

Temperature (may not always be present)

Wind direction and speed (may not always be present)
