Importing Users
2.4.8.1
Active Directory
From the Administration program it is possible to import users from Active Di-
rectory. Please note that it will only import user names and email addresses.
Other information such as routing identifiers (DNIS), passwords and groups
will not be imported.
Open the Administration program, and click on the menu
Tools ⇨ Import Users .
This will open the User List Import Wizard window shown below.
Select Active Directory Import and click Next .
Synchronize: This option will enable you to refresh the user list with Active Di-
rectory without using the User List Import Wizard. A new option will be avail-
able under the menu
Tools ⇨ Synchronize.
Note that enabling this option will disable manual editing of most user settings
since the settings come from Active Directory. To enable manual user modifica-
tion, synchronization must be disabled from
Tools Synchronize Disable ⇨ ⇨
Synchronization.
