1087 No modem response:
The modem did not respond to any commands.
Check cabling or if this is a PCI card modem, check that the card is properly
seated. Also try shutting the server down, leaving it off for 60 seconds, and
powering it back on. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE
.
1088 Invalid response from modem:
The modem sent a response not al-
lowed by the Class 1 specification. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE
.
1089 Not a Class 1 modem:
The modem does not support the Class 1 com-
mand set. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE
.
1089 Send data was not supplied to the modem fast enough:
Check serial
port settings to ensure the fax server can send data fast enough to the modem.
Error type:
RETRYABLE
.
1095 Send collided with receive:
An outbound port was allocated just as the
port began to receive a call. Error type:
BUSY
.
1106 Modem did not detect fax device on calling side:
The modem re-
turned something other than CONNECT after answering the phone. This usually
indicates the caller was not a fax machine. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE
.
1107 Modem did not detect carrier on calling side:
The carrier wait timer
expired after answering the phone for receive. This usually indicates the caller
was not a fax machine. The carrier_wait timer is 45 seconds by default. Error
type:
NON_RETRYABLE
.
1108 Timed out waiting for a command:
During phase B, the T1 timer ex-
pired while waiting for commands from the sending fax machine. This timer is
35 seconds. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE
.
1109 Timed out waiting for a command:
The 3 second T4 timer or the 6
second T2 timer has expired while waiting for a command from the sending fax
machine. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE
.
1110 CLASS1 buffer full:
The calling application has allowed more than 3
pages to be accumulated in the CLASS1 driver buffers. This would only occur if
the calling application was extremely slow and the pages were very small. Er-
ror type:
NON_RETRYABLE
.
1111 Invalid end-of-page signal:
After receiving page data, the remote unit
should send 1 of 6 different end of page commands. It sent something else.
Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE
.
1112 Busy:
A busy tone was detected. Error type:
BUSY
.
1113 No dial tone:
By default, the modem will listen for dial tone before try-
ing to place an outbound call. The most common cause of this error is not hav-
ing a working phone line plugged into this port. If the phone lines do not
provide dial tone, the modem must be configured to not detect dial tone before
dialing (see dial_progress_mode). Error type:
NO_DIAL_TONE
.
1114 Modem did not detect fax device on answering side:
The modem re-
turned something other than CONNECT, BUSY or NO DIALTONE while dialing.
