Display Board Removal
If you must remove the 520 display board, use the
following procedure:
1. Remove CPU board (see Section 2.6 above).
2. Remove four Phillips head screws in display
board and carefully remove display board.
To replace the display board, reverse the above
procedure. Be sure to reinstall cable ties to secure all
cables inside the indicator enclosure.

Battery Replacement
The lithium battery on the CPU board maintains the
real-time clock and protects data stored in the system
RAM when the indicator is not connected to AC power.
System RAM data includes prompts and keyboard
locks. This information is lost if the battery loses power
and the indicator is disconnected from AC power. To
prevent loss of data, do the following:
•
When battery voltage gets low, the indicator
display shows
low bat
. Replace the battery
when this warning is displayed. The battery
should last seven years.
•
Use the Revolution
®
configuration utility or
EDP commands (see Section 9.1 on page 50)
to store a copy of the indicator configuration
on a PC before attempting battery replacement.
If any data is lost, the indicator configuration
can be restored from the PC.
WARNING
Danger of explosion if battery is
incorrectly replaced. Replace only with
the same or equivalent type
recommended by the manufacturer.
Dispose of unused batteries according to
the manufacturer’s instructions.
