8. Remove the 3 M3 x 4-mm screws that secure the fan to the base.

9. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board and remove the fan.
21.2 Installing the Fan
1. Install the fan and attach to the base using the 3 M3 x 4-mm screws.
2. Attach the fan cable to the system board. Then attach the grommet on the fan cable to the
cage enclosure.
3. Replace the processor thermal-cooling assembly (see

NOTE: Ensure that you reconnect the coin-cell battery (see
