Not all nine nearest airports, VORs, NDBs, intersections or user waypoints can be
displayed on the corresponding NRST page at one time. The nearest airport page displays
detailed information for three nearest airports, with a scroll bar along the right-hand side
of the page indicating which part of the list is currently being viewed. The nearest air-
space page displays detailed information for up to three special use or controlled airspace
alerts. The NRST pages for VORs, NDBs, intersections, and user waypoints will display
fi ve waypoints at a time. The fl ashing cursor and large right knob (
d
) are used to scroll
and view the rest of the waypoints or airspaces in the list.
To scroll through the list of nearest airports, VORs, NDBs, intersections, user
waypoints or SUAs:
1. Select the desired NRST page, using the steps outlined on page 119.
2. Press the small right knob (
r
) to activate the cursor.
3a. Rotate the large right knob (
d
) to scroll through the list. The scroll bar along the right-hand
side of the page will indicate which part of the list is currently being viewed.
4. Press the small right knob (
r
) to remove the flashing cursor.
The nearest ARTCC and nearest FSS pages present detailed information for up to five
nearby facilities—displaying only one facility at a time. Again, the additional information
is viewed using the flashing cursor and large right knob (
d
) to scroll through the list.
To scroll through the list of nearest flight service station or center points of
communication:
1. Select the desired NRST page, using the steps outlined on page 119.
2. Press the small right knob (
r
) to activate the cursor.
3b. Rotate the small right knob (
a
) to scroll through the list.
4. Press the small right knob (
r
) to remove the flashing cursor.
