Note:
Do not include the controller POS4000 when counting the number of Remote
POS4000s.
To select this command, scroll through the Multiple Unit sub-menu until "Set # Bays/Consoles"
appears and then press [ENTER].
Example to setup a controller console to communicate with 2 customer interfaces and 1 remote
POS4000:

The default is 1 bay and 0 remote consoles.
Note:
When setting up a remote console, # of remote consoles is always set to 0.

This command is used to program or download information from the controller POS4000 to
remote POS4000s.
To select this command, scroll through the Multiple Unit sub-menu until "Prog Remote
Consoles" appears and then press [ENTER].
Example to program remote consoles:

[MENU UP/DOWN] until "Multiple Unit MENU->" appears
[ENTER]
[MENU UP/DOWN] until "Prog Remote Consoles" appears
[ENTER]
This command will take a few moments to execute (depending upon the number of remote
consoles to program). As the information is being passed to the remote console, verification
messages will be displayed on the POS4000 screen. The last message to be downloaded is
“ACK DWLD Tax Rate”; if you see this message displayed for more than 15 seconds, the
downloading is complete. Press the Clear button.
