12.4 PPD driver (for applications)
PPD driver types
The PPD driver contains the PPD information for applications.
Driver for applications: Install the driver when using applications such as
Adobe PageMaker that require the PPD driver.
The PPD driver for applications is in the “Driver\PPD-PageMaker\Language
folder” on Driver CD-ROM Vol.2 PS,Macintosh Driver.
About the PPD driver for applications
PPD registration destination (example: Adobe PageMaker)

For PageMaker 6.0
Copy the PPD file to RSRC\PPD4, which is under the folder to which
PageMaker is installed.
- For PageMaker 6.5/7.0
Copy the PPD file to RSRC\\PPD4, which is under the folder
to which PageMaker is installed.
To print

Select [File], then [Print].

From the “Model” box in the print dialog box, select this machine.

Specify “Paper Setting” or “Features” for the printer.

To print, click the [Print] button.
