Automatic Erase from External
Memory Card
The log group -specific setting Number of days to preserve log files,
specified in Lizard setup software, also affects the files stored to the
external memory card. The functionality is the same as for internal log
memory:
- Files older than the selected value [days] will be deleted
automatically.
- Files are not erased, that is, the automatic cleanup is disabled.
When files are stored to the external memory card, the internal memory
is used as the working memory for storing the log files of the current
day. These working files are moved to the external card each day just
after midnight when the new files have been created for writing.
Resetting the QML Logger
The Reset command is used for resetting the QML logger. You can
either reset the logger immediately or after a specified delay. To reset
the logger, proceed as follows:
1. On the Maintenance menu, select Reset.
2. The Reset menu includes two options for resetting the logger:
a. To reset the logger immediately, select Immediate. The
logger reset begins.
b. To reset the logger after a specified delay, select Delayed. The
Delayed Reset prompt is displayed.

1. In the Reset delay (s) field, enter the delay (in seconds)
after which you want the logger to be reset. The logger
reset will begin after the specified delay has elapsed.
