Operating procedure during a primary site storage system failure (with information
lost from memory)
The following are the procedures that must be performed when a failure, with information lost from
memory, occur in the primary site storage system.
Failover
If a volatile failure occurs in the primary site storage system, perform the same failover procedure
as the one used during storage system maintenance at the primary site. See
“Failover” (page 352)
in “Performing primary site storage system maintenance” (page 352) .
Failback
If a failure, with information lost from memory, occurs in the primary site storage system, perform
the same failback procedure as the one used during storage system maintenance at the primary
site. See
