5-3-2 Setting the CHA Mode
The [CHA] tag allows you to set the channel adapter mode. The [CHA] tag is available only for changing
settings. You cannot add or delete the settings with the [CHA] tag definitions. Mainframe settings are not written
on the downloaded spreadsheet.
Table 5-4 lists the available configuration definitions for the [CHA] tag.

The available values are different between the MC subsystem and the SC subsystem. One
of the following can be set:

For MC subsystem: CHA-1P, CHA-1Q, CHA-1R, CHA-1S, CHA-2V, CHA-2W,
CHA-2X, CHA-2Y
•
For SC subsystem: CHA-1C, CHA-1D, CHA-1F, CHA-2G, CHA-2J, CHA-2K
2nd, 9th
PCB Mode One of the following can be set:
•
Standard: Standard mode
•
High Speed: High Speed mode
•
High Speed 2: High Speed (2 port) mode
3rd-6th, 10th-13th Blank
