15. Stop the VDP:
> SCF STOP DISK $VDP
16. Restart the VDP:
> SCF START DISK $VDP
If you have more than 2 physical volumes in the pool, you can use the following
procedure to move files from one physical volume:
Identify the logical files on the physical volume via SMFIXUP. Because the files are
evenly spread across all the volumes assigned to a SMF storage pool, you need to
identify which files are located on the volume that is going to be removed from the
storage pool. Use the TACL macro (SMRECOV) within TIM to select which files are
located on which volume.
