3. For D-series product versions, issue a PUP DOWN $DATAP command. For G-
series versions, issue an SCF STOP $DATAP command.

5. Delete the virtual disk $DATA.
For D-series product versions, issue these PUP and COUP commands:
PUP DOWN $DATA
PUP UP $DATA, SPECIAL
PUP DELETEVIRTDISK $DATA
COUP STOP PROCESS $DATA !
COUP DELETE PROCESS $DATA
For G-series versions, issue the following SCF commands:
STOP $DATA
DELETE $DATA
6. Exclude physical volume $DATAP from $POOL:
For D-series product versions, issue these PUP commands:
PUP UP $DATAP
PUP EXCLUDE $DATAP POOL $POOL
For G-series versions, issue the following SCF commands:
SCF START $DATAP
SCF ALTER $DATAP, POOL EXCLUDE
7. Rename the physical volume $DATAP to $DATA to preserve file names, SQL
catalog consistency, and TMF online dumps.
For D-series product versions, issue these PUP commands:
PUP DOWN $DATAP
PUP RENAME $DATAP, $DATA, PERMANENT
For G-series product versions, issue these SCF commands:
STOP $DATAP
RENAME $DATAP, $DATA
8. If the volume is a TMF data volume, issue this command:
TMFCOM ADD DATAVOL $DATA
