STOPOPENS Command
is an example that illustrates how the information retrieved maps to virtual
disk attributes when the following command is submitted:

The STOPOPENS command makes all physical volumes associated with a storage
pool unavailable for new file open requests. Only members associated with the super-
group (255,

) can execute the STOPOPENS command.
$storage-pool
is the process name or logical device number of a storage pool process. The
storage pool process must have an execution state of UP, and its catalog must be
accessible.
UP Command
The UP command places a process in the DOWN execution state to the UP or UP
SPECIAL execution state. Only members associated with the super-group (255,

) can
execute the UP command.
