These event messages contain the physical file names for each catalog file. You will
need to enter these file names in the VDP catalog by using the SMFIXUP utility. See
the following example:

SMFIXUP USECATALOG $VDP11.ZSMSCAT.ANT $JETS.ZYS00000.A000WJOA
SMFIXUP USECATALOG $VDP11.ZSMSCAT.PENDOPS $JETS.ZYS00000.A000WJOJ
SMFIXUP USECATALOG $VDP11.ZSMSCAT.IDENTITY $JETS.ZYS00000.A000WJOG
SMFIXUP USECATALOG $VDP11.ZSMSCAT.VERSION $JETS.ZYS00000.A000WJOM
SMFIXUP USECATALOG $VDP11.ZSMSCAT.DEPOBJ $JETS.ZYS00000.A000WJOD

Finally, bring the VDP back to the UP state by issuing the following PUP or SCF
commands:

For D-series systems:

PUP DOWN $VDP11
PUP UP $VDP11

For G-series systems:

SCF STOP $VDP11
SCF START $VDP11

Recovering Pool Process Catalog Files

If pool process catalog files need to be recovered, a TMFCOM RECOVER FILES
command must be issued alone or as part of a wild card file set. If only certain files in
the catalog need to be recovered, they must be named specifically. For example:

TMFCOM RECOVER FILES $catvol.ZSMSPnn.*,command-options

Caution. You must issue the USECATALOG commands in the order presented above,
omitting any catalog files that did not need to be recovered. Failure to issue the commands in
this order might result in corrupted catalogs, or lost data files, or an inoperable VDP.
