REDEFINEVIRTDISK Command

is any of the attribute parameters described under
page B-27. The following rules govern attribute value changes for the AUDIT and
MIRROR attributes:
REDEFINEVIRTDISK Command
The REDEFINEVIRTDISK command modifies the attributes of a virtual disk. $ZSMS
must be in the UP execution state, and its catalog must be accessible. Only members
associated with the super-group (255,
n
) can execute the REDEFINEVIRTDISK
command. New values are valid when the process is restarted.
$virtual-disk-name
is the name of the virtual disk. It must have the same name as a virtual disk
process that has an OSCONFIG entry.
attribute-parameter
is one of the attribute parameters described under
SHOWPOOL Command
The SHOWPOOL command retrieves information about the attributes of one or all
defined storage pools on a system. $ZSMS must be in the UP execution state, and its
catalog must be accessible. You need no special privileges to execute the
SHOWPOOL command.
