Certificate Types
Description
Certificate Request
Generates a key pair and a PKCS # 10 certificate
request which can be used to request a server
certificate.
The certificate request must be submitted to a
certificate authority to generate a server
certificate. The certificate authority will use its
root certificate to sign the server certificate. The
certificate request contains extensions suitable
for server authentication.
View Existing
Certificate
Views the contents of an existing certificate file.
This includes PKCS #12 formatted certificates.
