Field Name
Description
Mode
Sets how often the log file is switched (the
rolled-over interval).
There are 5 options for this field:
•
HOURLY - The file is switched every
hour. The timestamp portion is in format:
yyyyMMddHH.
•
DAILY - The file is switched every day.
The timestamp portion is in format:
yyyyMMdd.
•
WEEKLY - The file is switched every
week. The timestamp portion is in
format:
yyyyww.
•
MONTHLY - The file is switched every
month. The timestamp portion is in
format:
yyyyMM.
•
CUSTOM - The rollover time and
timestamp format is determined by the
Pattern property.
Prefix
Specifies the prefix (beginning) portion of the
log file name.
