Performance Verification Procedure

Trigger Sensitivity
Equipment needed: Fluke calibrator (preferred) or signal generator
1. Connect your calibrator’s output to CH1 of the oscilloscope
by 50ohm feed thru connector.
2. Set input attenuation of CH1 to 10 mV/div.
3. Turn on output of the calibrator for a 10 MHz sine wave.
4. Change output level until waveform reaches 1 division on
the screen. The waveform should be stable and clear.
5. Set calibrator to rated bandwidth frequency of the
oscilloscope.
6. Change output level of calibrator to the specified vertical
division, 1.5 div from 10 MHz to full bandwidth. The
waveform should be stable and clear.
7. Repeat the above steps for CH2.
