Audio features

Primary audio group —

Input and output balanced or unbalanced stereo audio

on 3.5 mm, 5-pole captive screw terminals.

• Audio input gain/attenuation (primary audio group) —

Individual input

audio levels can be adjusted so there are no noticeable volume differences

between sources. Users can set the input level of audio gain or attenuation

(-18 dB to +24 dB) via the Ethernet port, any RS-232 port, or the front panel.

Mic audio group —

Input mono audio on 3.5 mm, 3-pole captive screw

terminals.

• Audio input gain/attenuation (mic audio group) —

Individual input audio

levels can be adjusted so there are no noticeable volume differences between

sources. Users can set the input level of audio gain or attenuation (0 dB

to +80 dB) using the DSP Configurator program or SIS commands and the

Ethernet port or any RS-232 port.

Phantom power — The switcher can provide +48 VDC phantom power, a

standardized method of providing power to condenser microphones.

• Output two channel mono audio on the primary audio group outputs.

Audio output volume

— The audio volume of each output can be displayed and

adjusted through a range of full output to completely silent from the front

panel or under RS-232 or Ethernet control.

Digital signal processor —

The powerful, built-in, DSP provides a wide variety

of high-end audio capabilities, including:

Gain, volume, and trimming
Balance control
Filtering
Dynamic processing
Feedback suppression
Delay
Loudness
Mic mixing
Mic ducking

Group masters —

Any of the gain, volume, and trim controls in the DSP can be

grouped with other controls of the same type (in the same location in the

audio signal flow) for single-slider control of the entire group.
