Utility

The OOIPSCU Palm-SPEC Conversion Utility (OOIPSCU) software is designed to transfer Palm-SPEC files from
the Palm-SPEC to your desktop or laptop computer. OOIPSCU’s flexibility allows you to determine the format
(tab-delimited, comma-delimited, OOIBase32, Grams/32 SPC) of exported Palm-SPEC files prior to transferring
them to the destination PC. It also enables you to delete Palm-SPEC files from the handheld PC, as well as
create new directories on the handheld PC.

For the Quality Control professional, OOIPSCU includes a data log. This log documents all conversion utility
events and stamps each event with identification data, such as date, time, and user information.

Note: The Palm-SPEC Conversion Utility was designed by Ocean Optics to manipulate Palm-SPEC files only.

To handle any other files on your handheld PC, please consult with your Compaq documentation.
