Set User’s Rights
This option allows you to configure what portions of OOIPS2000 a particular user can access.
To set or change the functions available to a particular user, first choose the user's name in the Manage
Users screen and then click on the Set User Rights button. A Set User Rights dialog box (illustrated below),
containing every function of OOIPS2000, is listed in a tree format. Tap the screen sharply to change the state
of the check boxes. Only commands with a blue check mark next to will be user accessible.
Create/Edit User
To create a new user, choose an undefined user, and select the Create/Edit User button. A user information
screen appears, where you must type in a Fullname, Username and Password.
Note: The Copy User Rights From User box allows you to copy the command permissions from another
user instead of manually making each function available or unavailable in the Set User Rights dialog
box.
After creating a user, click OK and set the software rights for that user (Set User’s Rights).
To change the password or name of a current user, click the user's name in the Manage Users dialog box and
select the Create/Edit User button. In the Create/Edit User dialog box, make any necessary changes and click
OK .
