Although you can edit and save all the profile mappings, only the currently displayed profile is used for ingesting.
You can redefine the clip name attribute, either by specifying a plain text string, by mapping a source metadata or by
directly using the resulting file name of the ingest. You can also add an ordinal increment to the display name starting on
the value in the
"Start from" spinbox on a mantissa size of the value in the "Nb Digits" spinbox.

12.2.7 Start timecode redefinition
You can manually specify the ingested file start timecode by checking
"Following start timecode" and type a timecode in
the field beside it. If you check
"Start timecode of the source file", the source sequence start timecode will be used.
Figure 74: The "Destination start timecode" redefinition group
ENGSoft will retain the timecode frame rate of the source sequence.
i
In case of a
subclip and if you select "Start timecode of the source file", the start timecode of the ingested file will
be the timecode of the start of the subclip.
i
In the case of a
consolidation and if you select "Start timecode of the source file", the start (or in frame) timecode
of the first clip of the consolidation will be used.
ê
When you configure a subject, you cannot determine whether or not the specified start timecode will comply with
all the possible types of sequences to be ingested. For example if you specify "00:00:00:25" as the start timecode and
try to ingest a sequence whose timecode framerate is 25, the specified start timecode will not be valid. A warning will
be raised when the ingest starts and the start timecode of the ingested file will revert to the start (or in frame) time-
code of the source.
12.2.8 Audio routing
In the
"Audio configuration" tab of any subject configuration panel, you can modify the mapping of audio tracks between
ingest source and destination. No audio duplication or audio track muting is supported. Only audio track permutation is
allowed.
i
Audio routing is not supported for eVTR sources.
