1-4. Polling Transmission

1-4-1. Free Polling

1. Place your document in the feeder, then:

2. Start

Your fax message is stored and held on polling standby.

Note:

If you see FILE EXISTS CLEAR? PRESS YES . NO , you already
have a message on Free Polling Standby.

❐ To keep the old message: No . Remove the document from the

feeder.

❐ To erase the old message: Yes

1-4-2. Secured Polling

1. Place your document in the feeder, then:

NOTE
If you have not yet stored an ID Code using Function 61, you will be asked to
enter an ID Code. Proceed in the same way as for step 3 in "Stored ID
Override" on the next page.

2. Start

Your fax message is stored and held on polling standby.

Note:

If you see SAME ID FILE EXISTS CLEAR? PRESS YES . NO ,
you already have a message on Secured Polling Standby.

❐ To erase the old message: Yes . The old message is erased and

your new one is stored.

❐ To keep the old message: No . Input an ID Code in the same way

as for step 3 in "Stored ID Override" on the next page.
