-Adjustment-
If you normally scan thin or thick sheets of paper you can adjust the auto docu -
ment feeder mechanism. Also, this is useful when you have document multifeed
or non-feed problems.
If you open the scanner cover you can find the adjustment knob (blue color) and
scale easily. Numbers 1 through 5 are printed beside the scale. Rotate the knob
until the arrow points to the number which you want to select.

Thin Document Use 1 or 2
Thick Document Use 4 or 5
2. Setting if problems happen frequently

Multifeed Thin Document Use 1 or 2
Thick Document Use 4 or 5

Note: In a new machine the setting is 3.
