BASIC TRANSMISSION PROCEDURE

Make sure that the machine is in standby mode.

Check that the Memory indicator is lit.
If it is not lit, press Memory.

Check that the Memory indicator is not lit.
If it is lit, press Memory.

Carefully place the document in the feeder.

Select the contrast and resolution (and halftone if necessary).

You may select one or more of the following options. To select an option, press the

arrow on the scroll key, then

The machine dials, then your message is fed,
scanned, and sent to the other terminal.
