If the roaming indicator appears beside the network type (i.e. GSM,
GPRS), you are roaming into another wireless network’s coverage area
that is not part of your home network; contact your service provider
for more information.

Icon Description
You can send and receive email, PIN, and SMS messages. You can also
place and answer phone calls and browse web pages.
You can send and receive SMS messages, place and answer phone
calls, and you might be able to browse web pages. You cannot send or
receive email or PIN messages.
