6 When you release the Side button,
select one of the following:
Sending a text message
1 Press the Side button to go to PTT.
2 Highlight the contact or group you want
to send the text message to.
3 Press Right to open the pop-up
menu.
4 Select Text Message.
5 Enter the text.
6 Select Send.
NOTE When you address a text message
to a group that contains more than ten
members, the text message is sent only to
the first ten members in the group.
Sending a Call-Me alert
1 Press the Side button to go to PTT.
2 Highlight the contact you want to send
the Call-Me alert to.
3 Press Right to open the pop-up
menu.
4 Select Call-Me Alert.
Viewing messages
You can view all your PTT alerts and
deferred invitations in one place.
1 Press the Side button to go to PTT.
2 Press Menu .
3 Select Options and then select
Message Center.
4 Do any of the following:

To acknowledge and delete an
individual item, check the box next to
the item and select Clear.
Plays the voice message
Erases the voice message and
refreshes the screen so you can
rerecord the message
Sends the voice message
DID YOU KNOW ? A tone sounds every ten
seconds until the recipient answers the alert
or six minutes elapse, whichever occurs first.
