Appendix E: Replacing the Hard Drive

Make sure that the system is OFF and the power cable has been disconnected before changing
the hard drive.
Removing the hard drive
To remove the hard drive:
1. Remove the screws from the top panel and side panels of the housing.
2. Gently slide the cover away from the front panel and lift off.
3. Remove the four screws that mount the hard drive to the metal bracket.
4. Gently slide the hard drive off of the mounting bracket.
5. Disconnect the power and data cables.
