Subwoofers offer a variety of low-frequency solutions for
general fixed installation or additional LF supplementation in
existing installations. Low-frequency systems have f3s (the
point at which response is -3 dB down) as low as 40 Hz. In
general, response below 40 Hz is required for theatrical
effects, full reproduction of pipe organs, and some special effects in contemporary music such as synthesizers and
down-tuned bass guitars. The TL 880D is especially suited
for this special type of application.
Note: TL subwoofers have unprotected fronts and woofers,
and should be used in inaccessible areas only.
