Caution
z If the following coordinate commands are designated incorrectly, the subsequent move opera-
tions will be entirely different than those expected. Before starting operations, be sure to
check that the settings are designated correctly.
The coordinate commands that must be checked are as follows:
• ABSOLUTE PROGRAMMING MODE (ABS)
• INCREMENTAL PROGRAMMING MODE (INC)
• CURRENT POSITION SET (POS)
• MOVE ON MACHINE COORDINATES (MVM)
Failure to carry out the above checks may result in damage to equipment, serious personal injury, or
even death.
