PoE power consumption

The power over Ethernet (PoE) power consumption refers to the power that all powered devices (PDs)
receive from the switch.
The PoE power consumption is decided by the following items:

Number of the PoE cards installed on the switch.
The S10506 can hold a maximum of four LSUM2GV48SE0 PoE cards. The S10510 can hold a
maximum of six LSUM2GV48SE0 PoE cards.

Number of the power interfaces (PIs) that each PoE card provides.
The LSUM2GV48SE0 provides 48 PIs. The power for each port is 0 to 30 W.

Maximum power of each PoE card.
The maximum power of the LSUM2GV48SE0 is 800 W.

For example, for an S10506 switch that is installed with three LSUM2GV48SE0 PoE cards, the maximum

PoE power consumption is 2400 W (800 W × 3).
