CHECKING BRAKE PAD WEAR
The brake pads should be checked for wear on a
routine basis. The pads may wear unevenly so both
sides need to be checked. Measure the distance
between the brake disc and the ratchet wheel (both
sides). The distance (space) should be greater
than .065 " . If .065 " or less the brake pads need
replacement at the factory.
After making the adjustment and checking the Brake
Pads, re-install the cover making sure to fit the cover
into the slots on the backbone.
