3.6.4 Digital outputs Sub­D 25, 24 channels
The EP2817­0008 digital output modules transmit the binary control signals from the automation unit on to
the actuators at the process level.
The 24 outputs deliver load currents of up to 0.5 A, although the total current from all the outputs must not
exceed 4 A.
The signal connection is made through a 25­pin sub­D socket.
The outputs are short­circuit proof and protected against inverse connection.
