ProActive Auto Start
You can start your navigation system au-
tomatically before driving off in your car.
The display does not have to remain on
the windscreen, just the basic unit needs
to be connected to the windscreen with
the cable.
When you drive off, your navigation sys-
tem will already have an overview of the
current traffic situation. Thus, you can al-
ready get in your car and drive off just
like with the auxiliary heater of your car.

You can choose from the following
options:
Selection Meaning
Automatic The navigation system swit-
ches over to the image of the
reversing camera as soon as
an image signal is sent. Nor-
mally, this is always the case
once the reverse gear has
been engaged
Manual It is possible to manually
switch over to the reversing
camera. In the
Tools menu,
a corresponding menu item
is then available
Selection Meaning
Automatic The ProActive Starte detects
automatically when you dri-
ve off normally with your

messages and to determine
the current location.
Note: You must already
have used your navigation
device for several weeks,
otherwise your navigation
system will not yet know
your user habits.
You can reset the function

day. The device will then
switch on briefly before-
hand. To do this, press the
